Houston Maternity Session

I am so excited to share with you this gorgeous maternity session with you today! It was such an honor taking maternity portraits of Hannah and Michael this week. During our pre-consultation, Hannah expressed to me that she wanted trees. And this was the most important thing she wanted, trees. So I suggested a few places in Houston that had "trees" and we ultimately decided to take portraits at Memorial Park. Memorial Park is a great area to take portrait photographs because of the diverse landscape it provides. It encompasses trees, ponds, and flowers. Memorial Park is a great option for those who want a forest like portraits but staying within 610 loop of Houston, Texas.

My goal as your Houston Maternity Photographer is to deliver timeless portraits that brings a smile to your face for years to come. I want to make it a luxury experience for you and your partner throughout the entire process, which will leave you and your partner feeling excited for the next session.

WHEN DO MATERNITY SESSIONS OCCUR AND WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

Maternity sessions occur between 25 thru 36 weeks of pregnancy. This is when the mother is showing enough but still comfortable walking around. I have taken maternity sessions past thirty-six weeks but this why its important to book your session in advance to schedule when you are within this time frame and to ensure I have availability.

Maternity sessions are consider my Simplicity Sessions. Simplicity Sessions are shorter and simpler than my full sessions. They are intended for mother, partner, and children. Everyone can participate in this joyous occasion.

WHAT TIME OF DAY ARE HOUSTON MATERNITY SESSIONS?

I generally do my Houston Maternity Session in the late evening if we are doing outdoor sessions. My evening sessions are about one to two hours from sunset of that day. This is when the sun starts to set and produces what us photographers call the "golden" hour. My job as your Houston Family Photographer is to create a wonderful experience and having truly emotional connections during our session even during your maternity session.
