I will guide you and your parent through every step, from the initial consultation to plan your ideal session through the final step of selecting your perfect print products. How to prepare, where to go, what to wear, what to do about your hair and makeup, how to pose - we have it all covered.
Planning your Session
The first step is creating your dream senior portrait session is to visit my Contact Page and send me an inquire about your session. Once you send me a quick message, we will set up a free phone consultation to discuss in detail about your photography session.
During the consultation, we will go over what your overall vision is, what matters most to you, locations, and how I can help to accomplish those your dream into a reality.
Majority of my seniors who wish to take portraits outdoors such as their University, a park or with an urban downtown feel. Outdoor sessions take about 2 hours before sunset. You will have the option of selecting up to three locations that are within walking distance from each other. In addition, you will be able to change outfits up to three times. I will have a pop up changing tent for you to change on sit. Whatever your vision is, I can help make it into a reality.
Hair and Makeup. I work with a variety of Hair and Make Up artist. During the consultation, I will ask if you are wanting those services and they can be added on to your session. It is important t put your best face forward. After all, these photos will be shared with friends and family.
Session
Now the fun begins!! This is where we will laugh, smile, and take lots of pictures. I will help you with the poses and guide you through the photoshoot. I am not a super posey photographer because I like to showcase you and what makes you unique.
Depending what location you decide, will depend when we start your senior portrait session. If we are wanting studio, we will take portraits in the morning or early afternoon. This will ensure that the studio is filled with beautiful natural light, producing a soft glow for your portraits. I work with a various studio spaces in Houston, so depending on what you want I can offer you the best studio space.
Viewing your online gallery and ordering
After your senior photoshoot, please allow up to three weeks to deliver your gallery. Your online gallery will consist of all the best images from your session. You will have 30+ digital images within your gallery. I have a list of different digital packages with prints. Please visit my Package page to review. I also work with a beautiful professional photo lab that you can print your pictures and have them ship directly to your home. These prints are fine art quality. In addition to prints, I have high quality canvases, albums, and frames portraits that can all be done within your online gallery.
